Simon Michaels - profile

Simon is an innovator, project enabler and business consultant. From a background in environmental planning and design, he has, in the last 10 years, set up several successful enterprises and advised many others in the food and environment sectors. These include:

founding member and now CEO of f3
the creator and director of Localfoodshop, an e-commerce facility for local producer trading
the marketing director of an artisan bakery
a director of a multi-award winning social enterprise in Cardiff, which runs the farmers market and other community food projects


Simon's wide knowledge of local food enterprise is an asset to any project. Much of Simon's work lately has focused on helping develop efficient distribution mechanisms for local food, and addresssing supply chain development and micro-enterprise marketing.
